Job Vacancy: Library Director

Seeking dynamic library professional with vision and enthusiasm for library’s role in enriching the quality of life in our community.

Immediately available. Full-time position to lead public, association library serving two towns of 6,500 residents in historic village setting. Supervises six part-time staff and three volunteers. Reports to twelve-member Board of Trustees.

Qualifications: MLS degree preferred, or a substantially equivalent Master’s degree. Two or more years of supervisory and/or administrative experience working in a public library setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills.

Compensation: Salary range is $38K-$45K, commensurate with demonstrated ability and experience, plus benefits
